Colbert Shocks Bush with the Truth


Stephen Colbert's skewering of Bush at the annual White House Correspondent's dinner must have been a shock to our illegitimate President, his wife, and other sympathizers gathered at the Washington D.C. event.

Who was responsible for inviting Mr. Colbert? Isn't that a bit like inviting the hangman to one's own execution? Perhaps the person responsible for the invite expected a more docile Colbert, one more like that seen Mon-Thur. on Comedy Central. One who is ironic and subtle in his humor and satire. A comedian much of whose intelligent spoofing of Bill O' Reilly is likely to go over the head of casual viewer, or be misinterpreted as an authentic defense of Bush and the current corrupt administration.

But this performance was unmistakeably critical of Bush and his cronies (including the mainstream media in Washington) -- while simultaneously displaying Colbert's eloquence and comedic brilliance. Unlike his comedy central persona, this speech betrayed Colbert's real feelings about the man who calls himself the leader of our country. One could feel the anger seeping through the timber of his voice . Judging from the silence of the crowd Colbert's blunt attack on the President was more than the light-hearted "roasting" that was seemingly expected. This was undoubtedly a KO.

Media continue to support official account of 9-11


On the homepage of Aol.com this morning was a newspiece by William A. Welch of USA Today, (with contributions from Oren Dorell and Kasie Hunt in McLean, Virginia). In it Mr. Welch discusses the buzz about a new film exploring the inconsistencies and many unanswered questions in the mainstream media's accounts of what happened on 9-11.

The film, entitled Loose Change, (I have not seen this film yet) reportedly takes a close look at the alleged crash of American Flight 77 into the Pentagon on 9/11/01. It reportedly brings up many points that have previously been elucidated in other places, including in the detailed and shocking documentary 911 In Plane Site.

This film, written and directed by Dave Vonkleist, provides some pretty convincing visual evidence that it was NOT a plane at all that hit the Pentagon on 9/11/01. The film, which I own and have seen several times, shows the Pentagon and exterior areas surrounding the impact site after the alleged attack. The pictures clearly were taken shortly after the impact, as firefighters are seen doing their jobs in the foreground. The strange thing is that there is NO visible fuselage, no wing/s, and no significant airplane parts that would lead one to believe that it was indeed a Boeing 757 aircraft that hit the Pentagon.

Vonkleist points out that the roof line of the Pentagon remains intact in all the pictures and that if a Boeing 757 had hit the Pentagon even at ground level it's over 40 ft. high tailwing would inevitably have damaged the roof line. Instead, the visual evidence shows a roof line still intact up until the time the outer wall collapsed, about twenty mintues after impact. Computer graphics are used to illuminate this argument. In addition, the Boeing's wings would have some caused some sort of damage as well. Instead, there is only the appromixmately 14-16 ft. round hole. He asks; "How does a 757 fit into a 16 ft. hole and leave no wreckage in front of the building?" These are all very good questions.

The points that I have mentioned are just the beginning. There are questions brought up as to why a building as thoroughly fortified and protected as the Pentagon (with multiple security cameras around the perimeter) only produced one photo (from one security camera) from the event. These and other questions are explored on the website www.earth-citizens.net. Much of this information was originally presented by onetime French electrical engineer and aviator Jean-Pierre Desmoulins. His website http://perso.wanadoo.fr/jpdesm/pentagon/ reportedly inspired Vonkleist to make his film. Here one can explore many of the complex unanswered questions (such as how it is possible to fly a 757 at ground level "in perfect horizontal flight" into the Pentagon) in greater detail.

As for Mr. Welch, one wonders how he can make the statement that "numerous pieces of wreckage were found" when pictures taken in the moments just after impact show a total absence of 757 wreckage in front of the Pentagon. Did a clean-up crew rush in ahead of the firemen and remove all of this wreckage in five minutes? Not likely.

In light of the misinformation that has been spread by the mainstream media it is important for any concerned and conscientious inhabitant of our planet who is horrified by the current state of global chaos to investigate these issues for oneself.
